Moda in Pelle

I purchased a pair of boots (one of many) in the Harrogate store which I subsequently hardly wore but on inspection the zip has become faulty which is not really acceptable from a pair of supposedly high quality boots. I returned them to the Harrogate store hoping for a repair but was told I had to contact head office as they would have details of my transaction as you do enter your email address at every purchase. I did this only to receive an email requesting full details of the transaction despite clearly stating I was not sure and could not trace the purchase as I had changed banks. Moda in Pelle seem to be able to email me on an almost daily basis yet cannot find my transaction from this address or the pictures of the products. I explained this and then received another email requesting exactly the same information I told them she could not provide! Be very wary when you buy a product from Moda in Pelle as the quality and certainly the after sales service is less than acceptable. If you do need any any help with a problem you had better have the receipt, the transaction details and the date on which you purchased the item, providing all this at the point of sale is simply not good enough! I will no longer be buying their products as I am completely disillusioned with the level of customer service after being such a loyal customer.

Saw some gorgeous boots online but decided to visit the shop. Wish I hadn't bothered. There was myself and another customer who were not acknowledged in any way. I was picking up shoes I wanted to try. I decided not to bother as the one member of staff was stood in the window on the phone moaning about how she had no staff. She made no effort to engage with either of us. I prefer to shop in stores as I think its important to have a high street but in this case I will stick to purchasing online.

Small but perfectly formed shop in Harrogate. Very helpful and friendly staff. Lots of lovely shoes and some nice bags to go with them! This shop is at the big roundabout end of Harrogate and there is parking on the road opposite the shop and a cheaper car park just round the corner. Well worth a visit.

Fabulous and gorgeous range of footwear that also manages to be really comfortable. Really good quality and yet not too expensive, my favourite shoe shop without a doubt. The staff are always friendly and helpful without being pushy.

Took my wife there today (29/12/20) at around 14.45. The shop was far too full for it's size, three shop assistants as far as I could see and eight members of the public on the shop floor. There was definitely no social distancing going on and it was disappointing to see such a disregard by the shop of the current situation. We left promptly and I doubt we will be back in a hurry.
