Huge thanks to Cameron at David Lloyd Harrogate — genuinely one of the best customer experiences I’ve had. From the moment we spoke, he was friendly, professional and incredibly knowledgeable. He took the time to understand exactly what I was looking for, explained everything clearly without any pressure, and made the whole process smooth and enjoyable. It’s rare to meet someone who combines professionalism with such a relaxed, approachable manner. Cameron is a real credit to the club and made joining feel like an easy decision. Highly recommend speaking to him if you’re considering David Lloyd Harrogate. 5 stars all the way.

I regularly access the club facilities and have been thoroughly impressed with the engagement from reception staff, Specially Spencer who goes out of his way each time to ensure the best possible experience each time I come in. Any problems are resolved with no issue due to his knowledge and experience. Today I was particularly impressed with the customer service from Millie who informed me my regular choice of shake wasn't available but offered an alternative which was fantastic. Really impressed with the levels of customer service employed.

Visited for the first time today. Victoria was lovely and friendly and helpful. She showed us around and the gym facilities have improved from our last visit around 3 years ago. Looking forward to using the E gym and the pool. Excited to maybe have a go at Padl!! Great to have introductory PT sessions to get us started.

⭐ 1-Star Review – David Lloyd Harrogate Deeply disappointed with the decline in standards at David Lloyd Harrogate. The men’s changing rooms are consistently dirty, damaged, and neglected. Basic hygiene is clearly no longer a priority—there is often no soap in the showers, broken tiles remain unfixed, locker panels hang off, and wet floors are left unattended. I have documented all of this with photographs and raised it with the management team on multiple occasions, but no one has even bothered to respond. This is supposed to be a premium health club, yet it now feels anything but. We are paying high membership fees for what is, frankly, a substandard facility. We have refrained until now from going public, hoping David Lloyd would deal with our concerns professionally. Sadly, the lack of acknowledgment or accountability has left us with no choice but to warn others. I would urge anyone considering membership to visit the facilities first and judge for themselves. The current state of this club does not reflect the brand's reputation.

As a family, David Lloyd Harrogate is our favourite place. The staff are phenomenal, facilities and timetable excellent and we love it. Rosie on Reception knows everyone by name, including my children, and always takes the time to speak to them. Krisztina in the kids club always supports my children to transition calmly in to club and provides such fun activities for them to do - which gives me such a wonderful break. Kayleigh in the cafe is so kind and patient (she’s my 3 year olds favourite person!). Fabiola is an excellent swim teacher, as is Phoebe, and my girls love their lessons. We’re lucky to have Adventure Babies with Helen and Early Explorers with Fi included in our membership, both lovely ladies who provide enriching activities for children. David in management is excellent, really supportive and helpful. Every staff member in club is kind, helpful and friendly, and we love the jam packed timetable, meaning we can find something to do every day for every member of our family. Thanks DL :)
