Me and my wife pay £305 a month to come here, and unfortunately the changing rooms are extremely poor. There’s mould everywhere in the showers and on the ceiling, they never have any tissues, the hair dryers never work or have any power, and there’s rubbish around with pubic hair often left all over the sinks. This really isn’t what we expect from David Lloyd, especially with premium prices. We’ve informed reception and management multiple times about this but there’s been no improvement. I’m not one to leave negative reviews, but this just isn’t right and really needs addressing.

My husband and I were interested in joining David Lloyd. Emily showed us round and was extremely informative and helpful. She answered all our questions and was an absolute star with us. We have loved our first couple of weeks here and have no regrets joining.

I've had 3 free sessions with Ana Ava PT at the David Lloyd Gym in Leeds. Ana is lovely, she is so supportive and understanding. I enjoyed all 3 sessions which have given me an amazing kick-start. I feel Ana is the best PT, she really motivates you and works according to you and your body. I've had exp with other PT's but they've not been great. Since meeting Ana I have made progress with myself in my day to day life and I'm maintaining it. I feel so much better witjin me and my weight is reducing slowly. Wohoo. Thank you Ana for all your advice, I would definitely recommend Ana as a PT.

I’ve been training with Ana for just two months, and the progress I’ve made has been incredible. She’s energetic, enthusiastic, and genuinely encouraging every step of the way. What I appreciate most is how focused she is on proper form and technique; she makes sure every movement is done safely and effectively. Thanks to her guidance and confidence-building approach, I’ve gone from 40kg to 110kg on my hip thrusts, something I never imagined I’d achieve so quickly. Ana is an amazing PT, and I feel stronger, more capable, and more motivated each session. Highly recommend!

Edit 08/25 - Nothing improved None of the negative points addressed. (no contact as promised) Spa now only has 2 loungers - 3 broken loungers just not replaced in the spa- people have to sit on the floor now. NO clilled water in any fountain NO TV on any machine in the gym- channels jumbled and no signal My wife and her friends have just downgraded their membership as its awful tbh the price they try to add on for a bad spa Lots of Pros but FAR too many cons also for a club which would like to class itself as a "premium" club. Pros - Excellent tennis and raquet sports. Well equipped gym. Nice cafe area with good food at a decent price. Outdoor pool area really nice in summer. Reception staff and gym staff helpful and approachable. Roomy and spacious (except the spa) Generally nice and clean- the cleaning staff are very thourough Cons - Peak times are just too busy, even outside of the January rush. The spa is far too small, 10000+ members all have to share a spar with just an 8 person sauna and just 3 loungers (one of which is broken and has been for months)- People have to resort to sitting on the floor, hanging towels on the plants or queing for a space to become free somewhere. Many of the lockers dont have hooks, they are broken. (and still are the old padlock style, most modern gyms have replaced these years ago) The drinking fountains are filthy (as someone else has already pointed out) The spar being so small, is really loud (perhaps invest in some accoustics (or better still build a new bigger spa on the other side of the pool)). Quite often there is no TV signal on the gym machines. The experience is far from "premium" at present which is what DL says the £160+ per month pays for. Dont get me wrong its a good gym, but not premium or value for money, as it is currently. The Spa a real weak area for the additional £40 per month that costs to access. Come one DL step up plse (and yes i have already fed all this back and requested a call back but that never happened)
