The room has only one plug socket for 4 ppl. Bunks difficult for adults to get in and out off. But showers good and hot. Good self catering kitchen and lounge all very nice
The hostel is comfortable, clean and friendly. There are multiple food options available and a small bar, but it was only open for a limited amount of time on the day that we stayed. Breakfast had a good selection of options. There is a well sized and secure bike store. There is a good drying room. It is a short walk into town. Slight downsides - the beds are basic and the mattresses are firm. If you need more than one pillow then make sure to ask before reception closes at half past seven. Unfortunately you cannot switch off the corridor lights so they shine under the gap in the door. I’d be happy to stay here again, but perhaps I’d bring an eye mask and ask for an extra pillow at check in.
This hostel has everything you could need: laundry, drying room, bar, self catering kitchen, food served, camping spots and bunks. A great place to stay on the Pennine Way, but I wish it wasn't up a little hill, I was very tired that day.
Clean and tidy rooms. Friendly staff. Within short walk of Hawes centre. Car park quite small but plenty of adjacent road parking. Quiet and chilled atmosphere
I visited this place when doing The Herriot Way and it is the perfect place to stop! It had everything we needed, well stocked kitchen, comfy sofas, really friendly and kind staff, warm showers, plus a delicious breakfast - vegan option available!
