We spent three nights at The House at Hawes for a special birthday. Our hosts, Fiona and Tim were delightful and made us feel immediately at home. All the rooms were themed and our room, the Snug, had a lovely view over the hills, excellent facilities and the most comfortable bed. There was a wide choice of local food for breakfast. We'll certainly stay here again next time we're in the Yorkshire Dales and would wholeheartedly recommend The House at Hawes and Hawes itself for an excellent short break.

We stayed at The House at Hawes for the second time and were once again delighted. The rooms are individually and very tastefully decorated, we opted for ‘The Snug’ again. Everything was very clean and well maintained, and the fantastic breakfast with its wide selection of options deserves a special mention. There really is something for everyone here to get the day off to a good start. We are already looking forward to coming back as soon as possible.

Fiona and Tim are perfect hosts, so friendly and welcoming, and do absolutely everything to ensure guests have a wonderful stay. We loved our spotlessly clean room with its gorgeous view. The super comfy bed and brilliant shower and heated towel rail made it perfect. Our breakfasts were amazing too - delicious, all home-cooked, fresh and beautifully presented. This was our second stay at The House at Hawes and we’re already looking forward to our next one! A perfect place to stay. Thank you again Fiona and Tim!

I stopped here for one night during my Pennine Way hiking trip. I was in the single room - 'The Bothy' and it proved to be an excellent choice. The room was tastefully decorated, spotlessly clean, had a comfy chair, a Nespresso coffee machine, a very comfortable bed, and a modern bathroom with walk-in shower and with luxury towels and toiletries. Fiona and Tim were excellent hosts and they served up a fantastic cooked breakfast. I can highly recommend this B&B without hesitation - you won't be disappointed.

Just returned from a wonderful stay at House of Hawes. The tastefully decorated room was clean, comfy and worthy of the five star rating. Enjoyed the little treats left as a surprise each day and the complimentary spa toiletries. The breakfast was fantastic with so much choice available. The hosts, Fiona and Tim, were friendly and offered lots of advice of places to visit. It was so handy to park your car and be a short stroll from Hawes. Would not hesitate to return when visiting the area in future.
