Pizza Hut Restaurants York Monks Cross

Be honest their Pizza is brilliant, we really enjoyed it. The chicken wings and cheesy garlic bread are good, the only thing we did not like is the bottomless soft drink, the Pepsi Max and Pepsi Diet taste funny, I think maybe there is something wrong with the water. Recommend order bottles rather than refill soft drinks. Their dessert is also good. The staff is very friendly and helpful, she helped us to order the meal on the mobile phone (on line) and got the good deal to save money(still cost us nearly £50) but my Sainsbury’s credit card rejected the payment twice, the bank system thought it’s fraud. Very interesting and a little bit worrying.

The Best Pizza Hut eve!! Helpful, friendly staff and food (whether eat in or takeaway) is top notch! The staff on the evening of Friday the 12th December 2025 surpassed themselves. Such a credit to the Hut! Would definitely recommend. Thanks again for the best takeaway , including a gluten free option.🙌

Warm space on a cold evening, not very busy, families with children and one birthday group. Staff excellent, friendly, accommodating and adaptable. Menu very confusing with lots of unnecessary meal deal offers and we were lucky that the manager had an encyclopaedic knowledge of these to help us. Also good that they retained the option of a human taking the order as opposed to apps and QR. Could have been grim but staff made the difference.

Visited MonksCross yesterday and whilst here we stopped at Pizza Hut for some dinner. When we walked in we were met by a really polite server who showed us to an outside table. She asked if we would use the app by scanning the code on the table and when I refused saying I wanted to be served and not order via an app she was really good about that and said that’s fine I totally understand. The service was fast and we both ordered a meal deal. This allowed us to have refillable drinks, a salad bowl, pizza, side and pudding for £24.99 The salad bowl was ok nothing really to shout about the basic Pizza Hut salad, the garlic bread was a little over done but tasted more like bread as hardly had any garlic on what’s so ever. The fries were fantastic, really tasty. The pizzas were good one was a little dry but quite spicy (My partner love spice) the bbq pizza was tasty. The puddings were delicious A very pleasant visit

We went for our son's 8th birthday and Chris provided excellent customer service. Extremely friendly and accommodating and provided our son with a wonderful birthday meal, lovely food and an extra special birthday dessert. Highly recommend.
