We pay thousands to lay our loved ones to rest and to have a place where we can come to remember them. Yet this Church allows its Graveyard to become so overgrown and neglected it’s actually disgusting. Grass and weeds genuinely coming up to my chest and I’m 6ft. A place of remembrance that genuinely looks forgotten. The irony. I’ve tried getting in contact but the Bishop just doesn’t care because ‘they rely on community labour’. Yet where does the thousands of pounds go we pay for the burials? And they have the audacity to tell you what you can and can’t have on the graves of loved ones, or the colour of the headstones, shape etc. it’s laughable that they care more about this than the maintenance of their graveyard. As holy men you should be ashamed of yourselves for such neglect of a Holy place.
