This place is lovely. The staff in the cafe are friendly and the food is tasty. The views while eating are amazing! The owner is really friendly, the plants are really good value for money and all really healthy. Seeing the swans with their signets and the wallabies makes it even better.

My sister and I went there as a treat for lunch. I'd never been before. The food was well presented, very tasty but a little too large! We then went out and walked around, it was amazing! We saw 2 black swans with beautiful curling tail feathers, various ducks and geese with some really wonderful plumage. But as far as I was concerned the best things were two albino wallaby's. I would definitely recommend this place, the cakes looked gorgeous, next time I go it will be for tea, cake and plants! Unfortunately it was much too early for the sort of plants I want. All the food that was served looked very attractive

On a family holiday with a dog we were looking for a nice place to visit on our last day. The pictures on the website were completely deceiving, we were shown beautiful landscapes, a lovely atmosphere and cafe and lots of animals including wallabies. However, upon arrival the grounds felt like someones back garden with their washing hanging up and just a few chickens and swans. We went into the cafe to try and make our new plans, we were made to sit in the corner because we had a dog (despite the site saying it was dog friendly), the floors were dirty, and cobwebs everywhere. As well as dirty chairs. Horrible brooms and not-emptied dustpans right next to our table. From a very limited menu, and warm drink cans, one of us ordered a decaf tea, when given the mug. It was disgusting. Clearly hadn’t been washed. I politely asked for a new one (understanding that sometimes this happens) and was tutted at with a grumpy look before given a slightly better one. The food also appeared very overpriced considering I heard a microwave. The staff were very unsympathetic. My final straw was the comment another member of staff made to the one who I had spoken to. She said something along the lines of ‘we must start, you know, properly washing the mugs’ I was utterly disappointed with how the pictures were compared to the atmosphere of the sight. No wallabies. Don’t bother.
