Visited between Christmas and new year, when we arrived, we were greeted by the guy on the door, who just said, name of booking?, no welcome,or smile, we were then seated and ordered our drinks and starters, the starters were really good. The mains came and I had ordered a fillet steak, medium rare, it was only Luke warm when I got it, and was cooked pretty much blue, nobody came to ask if our food was OK, so in the end, my son had to go and find someone, it was the guy on the door, he asked what was wrong, I showed him my steak and said, it's not medium rare it's pretty much blue and cold, he just said that looks borderline,.to which my husband showed him his rare cooked steak, and said this is rare, that is blue. All we got was, so do you want it cooking more then?, no sorry, no would you like a new steak cooking. His attitude was disgusting. My sons burger was over cooked, even though they had recommended it medium rare. We had to go and find the waitress for more drinks. When we had finished our mains, she asked if we wanted to see the desert menu, which we declined. No one came to offer the bill, so again, we had to go and look for a member of staff for the bill and there were only 5 other customer tables in. It's such a shame, because it has been renovated to a high standard, we certainly won't be back.

Went here for my nieces birthday and it had recently been refurbished. We had the lunch time menu of which we had 3 to choose from as it was December. The ribeye steak was perfectly cooked and we enjoyed the whole meal. You need to be there before 3pm to order the lunchtime food

Outside is a bit tired…. However food and service inside was outstanding. Quite possibly the best gravy I’ve ever tasted. Steak was cooked to perfection and overall was a lovely night out to celebrate my sisters birthday. Food: 10/10 Customer service: 10/10 Value for money: 10/10 Parking: 10/10

Server Georgina was lovely and very caring!! Gave us a free birthday treat which was a very nice touch. Food was also amazing :)

Visited late January as a family of 4. Petra was our waitress and she was fantastic. Very attentive, dealt with a minor issue with a chipped glass quickly and replaced our drink. The food was great, kids menu was varied and generous portions. Adults steak was perfectly cooked, and great sides to accompany it. Lovely drinks as well. Will definitely return.
