We ate in the bar after visiting the regular village market. This was our first visit to the Worsley Arms for a number of years. The place is looking a bit tired but the food and beer were good. Big shout out for the chips, which were proper triple-fried chips - crispy on the outside and fluffy inside. Best I’ve had for years. Worth a trip for the chips alone!

My wife and I arrived late without having booked a table for dinner but the staff were so accomodating and Chef made us up some really delicious roast beef sandwiches, alongside some excellent local ales was just perfect. Lovely atmosphere in a charming heritage environment. Love the Worsley Arms Hotel and hope to visit again. Thank you.

A fantastic period hotel in a beautiful village location. Staff were super friendly and helpful We had out dog with us and they loved her too ! The shower and toilet were a little small but that is the architecture of the older building and maybe other rooms were bigger and of course we are often spoilt with modern hotels with large en-suites We will definitely stay there again

The staff are lovely. The English breakfast was...an English breakfast. And once upon a time this place would have been a grand old dame. To say the rooms are dated and tired is an understatement. The cleaning of the rooms is sloppy. The fire door wouldn't close properly. The window was jammed open with a piece of wood. The overhead light was broken. The bathroom light had more dead flies in it than a butchers flykiller. The skylights more cobwebs than a Halloween party. The bedroom door looked like it had its hinges locked off. The mattress was as old as Gandalf. And for £90 for a room for a night off season and mid week is just eye watering for what is offered.

Popped in for a drink. Felt a bit of an outsider and struggled to get to the small bar due to locals sitting around it. Didn't appear to be many staff as waited a while to be served and felt it was pricey. 20.35 for a pint, glass of wine and a coffee.
