My elderly mother played a concert in the car park to raise money for her community brass band. She was then sent a £70 parking fine for a 10min overstay on the parking. Why invite people to play and then hit them with a large fine? Will not shop here in future.
Tesco's got to have the worst staff ever, and by far! Literally every miserable experience I've had whilst shopping has been at this Tesco super store in Huddersfield. I don't know if they're underpaid or does Tesco purposefully hire people with attitude? The other day I went with my mate to get some pain killers and we got shouted at by an unpleasant old Asian man for simply trying to pay at pharmacy checkout. Two weeks before I went to get a coffee, milk had seemingly gone off so I asked a black lady who was standing nearby to check the milk and she said "I wouldn't know" with a cringe on her face and she turned her back and left. I've been picked on for no reason even when tried to avoid humans and pay at self-service, ignored at tobacco til until I've left. At some point you ask yourself if you're the problem but then this's never happened to me anywhere else. I've just decided to never go back to this rotten place. No point ruining my day from a simple transaction.
No worries of household items when Tesco Superstore is around. You name it and you find it. Pay cash or use a card at counter and their is also facility of self check out. With a facility of vast car parking in ground and upper floor it is a good place for shopping. You can also reach through an intercity bus service and stop is just nearby.
Hardly any fresh vegetables of any note and what there is isn't fresh. You'd think we were living in a developing nation (although they have fresh vegetables) Staff very nice though!!
Very good car park with excellent marked spaces. Clean store which stocks most things but not as big as the extra stores
