The room was very comfortable and quiet. The origami rose and bowtie on the toilet roll was an unexpected and unique touch! The breakfast, as has been mentioned by others, is interesting. The bacon is reconstituted bits - I avoided it. I went for a sausage but it was nothing to write home about. The service is friendly and cheerful. The person on reception had locked themself out of reception so had to climb over the reception desk to get back in so they could check me in! I'm not sure it was the first time they'd had to do that.
They couldn't accommodate me this time, due to certain specifications, but were very fast to reply to my enquiry. When I stayed here previously I found the room clean, with good amenities and the staff were lovely.
Really glad that I found this place,as in a quiet area of Huddersfield near town centre Really lovely hotel,room was warm,well cleaned and bed was a king size. Really comfortable bed and TV had plenty of choices.Definitely will stay there again.
Stayed for three days while working nightshift. Staff were very conscious I was on nights which was good. Rooms have a very noisy bathroom extractor fan, It is a constant noise if the room next door leaves the bathroom light on. Breakfast - I've no idea what kind of bacon was served..I asked if it was vegan or something because it was horrible. Doesn't even look like bacon. And beef sausages only. Otherwise ok. Car park was very good and secure.
I was a little apprehensive about this hotel as it wasn't a chain. I have to say there was no need. Quick check in with no issues. Room was just what was needed and it had great lighting unlike some others. Comfy beds and very clean. A little feedback. It was a very warm weekend when we were there so a fan in the room would've helped. The chair in the room was very worn. Neither would stop me staying there again. Oh and close to the town centre.
