This is quite a large store, with plenty of selection of different items. There is a great choice of Funko Pop too, including the latest releases, sale items and some trade-ins too.
Lovely store and folk, was trying to buy a particular graphic novel. But wasn't in store, the lad with coloured hair. Had very good extensive knowledge about Japanese Horror and a paricular manga artist who he recommend.
Employee Adam at the Hull store very rudely told me im not a fan of Robert Kirkman and refused to sell me Invincible. Went to Waterstones and bought 3 compendiums and 1 to 10 of the new version books. All because I've got my 12 year old lad with me (school holidays) and he thinks they're for him. I've worked in retail 20 years and if my staff had spoken to anyone like that they would have been on a personal improvement plan instantly. Such a shame as I really wanted to keep my business with a smaller company and not use huge stores. Adam's a tool and needs sorting out by Management, store could have had loads more business! Shame on you Adam!
Popped in staff were lovely but i couldn't stay in the shop due to the god awful smell from the fruit & veg stall right outside the store. The smell was so bad of rotting food that i could taste it.
I rang this place on Wednesday this week to ask about trade in on Pops SOMETHING THEY CLAIM TO OFFER, I was told that the only time to do this would be between 2 and 3 on Saturday as that’s when they would have enough cash in the till, I arrived to a barely busy store and was informed by a horrible member of staff that they wouldn’t be able to take any pops as they where “too busy “ this is the third time I’ve attempted to ‘trade pops in’ something they claim to have an offer for, I couldn’t imagine going into a CEX or any other retailer that offers trade in and be turned away this is absolutely disgusting and clearly a disguise for I can’t be arsed to do it, if this review is replied too I would like the email for head office to take this complaint further as trying to go into the store is a joke
