Dunelm

I placed an order for click and collect, the order confirmation stated the order would be ready within 2 hours so 3 hours later I turned up at the Hull store only to be told my order was not ready and to come back tomorrow. The items was supposedly in stock and the store was hardly busy so I asked kindly if someone could get my order now as I had spent 30 minutes in traffic. The lady on the counter spoke to another staff member and then told me my order will be ready in a few minutes. A few minutes later I was told one of the items from my order had been sold to another customer and I will be emailed as soon as another one arrives in to stock. I asked if I could take the other item and she said sorry you can’t collect until the order is complete. Feeling disappointed I said it’s fine sometimes these things happen and left the store. Only 5 minutes later I received an email stating one part of my order has been cancelled and a refund will be issued within a few working days. Then I received a separate email only a few minutes after stating the available item is ready for collection! So in my opinion the lady on the counter clearly had no idea and caused great inconvenience. It really should not be this complicated to place a click and collect order. I have purchased from Dunelm before in store with no issues but on this occasion it’s been a very disappointing experience and wasted my time :(

Went in for some bedding that we'd seen online but found out that it was online ordering only, which the assistant kindly did for us. It is very easy to get carried away buying stuff in here as they always have good stuff. Not the cheapest of places but you get what you pay for.

Lovely items in Dunelm this season. Couldnt resist some of the glasses for dining table. Lovely young lady at the till with dark hair and glasses (name begins with R, but I cant remember her name fully) was really polite. You could see the shop was very busy and some people were huffing at the long queue, however she was still smiling and greating everyone she served. A credit to the store. Asked if i would like my glasses wrapped in paper to protect them. I was going to just clatter them away with me, so this was thoughtful of her. Coming back for the christmas bedding next week, great christmas present ideas for the family.

Not been here for a while but what a brilliant place to buy lots & lots of different home furnishings your greeted as you walk through the door & asked if your getting a click & collect order the assistant was very helpful in showing me where the items was that i had come to buy. The store was very clean & even the assistant on the checkout was very helpful as i payed for my items i asked where the restrooms was & said i could leave all my items with her till i'd used them. I must say the disabled toilet & baby changing room where excellent they where so clean & smelt so fresh gotta take my hat off to all the staff. They even have a little cafe so it wont be so long next time when i visit again.

Terrible! Couldn't find any staff, mum and I were lost in the bedding area looking for a Valence sheet which we couldn't find. We went to Boyes on Holderness Road and got everything we needed from there.
