The Minerva
About
Description
Situated in a stunning location facing out across the Humber estuary, The Minerva is one of Hull's most historic, best-known and best-loved pubs.
Once a favourite haunt of the legions of trawler men who made the city a bustling hub of the fishing industry, this Nelson Street pub still boasts all the character and warmth that first made it a hit with sea-faring folk, although now it's moved forward into the 21st century.
Under new landlord Lee Kirman, the pub is establishing itself as an ideal destination for those seeking hearty, quality meal and excellent real cask ales, served in comfortable surroundings.
The Minerva also serves quality home cooked meals from Monday to Saturday, between 10am and 3pm, and on Sunday, from 12pm to 4pm, when the speciality of the day is a traditional English roast served with locally-sourced trimmings.
Historic and modern, tasty and affordable, The Minerva is back to its best. For more information please call 01482 423453.
