Excitement is building in Leeds as the city prepares to welcome back its much-loved Summer Series at Millennium Square. This annual live music event is set to take place from 26 June to 11 July 2026, featuring a fantastic line-up of artists that promises to delight music lovers of all ages.

Line Up Highlights

This year’s series boasts an impressive array of talent, including both emerging artists and well-known names. Some of the headliners for the event include:

Kick Off with Classical Vibes

The Summer Series will launch on Friday, 26 June, with a spectacular event called Club Classical Ibiza. This show will blend dance music classics with live orchestral performances, curated by the well-known duo, Utah Saints. The performance will be accompanied by the Orchestra of Opera North and promises to be a vibrant start to the series.

Following this, on Saturday, 27 June, the venue will host 80s Classical, featuring iconic hits from the 1980s performed by beloved artists like Bananarama, Nik Kershaw, Johnny Hates Jazz, and Nick Heyward. This night will surely bring back fond memories for many and is expected to be a nostalgic celebration of the decade.

The Sounds of the City

As the series progresses, Millennium Square will showcase a wide variety of music styles through its Sounds of the City concert series. The following performances will take place:

  • Tuesday, 30 June: Dylan Gossett (with Crowe Boys and Buffalo Traffic Jam)

  • Wednesday, 1 July: Alabama Shakes (with Dove Ellis)

  • Saturday, 4 July: Tom Odell (with Matt Maltese)

  • Thursday, 9 July: Wet Leg (with English Teacher)

  • Friday, 10 July: The Human League (with ABC) - *sold out*

  • Saturday, 11 July: The Cribs (with Lottery Winners and Ellur)

This eclectic mix of genres, including indie, alternative, rock, country, pop, and orchestral performances, means there will be something for everyone to enjoy.

Food, Drink, and Accessibility

To enhance the experience, a range of street food options and a fully licensed bar will be available within the outdoor arena. This means that concert-goers can enjoy delicious food and drinks while soaking up the live music atmosphere.
