Ever been out with mates and half the group fancies a fancy cocktail, but the other half just wants a proper pint of lager? It’s a classic night-out dilemma. Well, it seems the team at Be At One has been listening. The popular cocktail bar is rolling out a big change across its sites, including its spots in Leeds, shaking things up with a refreshed menu and a whole new vibe. This isn't just about adding a few new drinks; it's a complete evolution of the brand, designed to make it the perfect spot for more than just late-night parties. The new offer is all about creating a better guest experience, with a wider range of drinks and snacks to suit all sorts of occasions.

A successful London experiment heads north

This whole idea isn't just a shot in the dark. The concept was first tested at Be At One’s flagship bar in London’s Piccadilly, and it went down an absolute storm. After a major revamp, the venue saw its sales jump by over 30%. That’s a pretty clear sign that people were loving the new approach. Seeing how well the refreshed offer performed in the capital, the brand decided it was time to share the love. Now, key parts of the successful Piccadilly experience, like the updated drinks menu and brand creative, are being introduced across all 32 Be At One sites, including right here in Leeds. It’s a big moment for the brand, marking a new chapter in its story and a real evolution in its guest experience.

So, what’s actually on the new menu?

This is the fun part. The new menu is where the changes really come to life. While Be At One is famous for its high-energy atmosphere and expertly made cocktails, the refreshed offer aims to make things a bit more versatile. Think of it as keeping the party spirit but adding a more relaxed, social vibe for earlier in the day. The drinks menu has been streamlined, but the range has been cleverly expanded.

Here are some of the highlights of the new offer:

  • Collab Cocktails: Ever wondered what would happen if two classic cocktails were mixed together? Well, now you know. These innovative drinks combine two iconic serves into one delicious creation.

  • Bellini Bumps and Caviar Slammers: This sounds fancy, and it is. It’s Prosecco served with a side of fruit caviar – tiny, flavour-packed bubbles of passionfruit, raspberry, or strawberry that burst in your mouth. A playful twist on a classic drink.

  • House of Margs: If you love a Margarita, you’re in luck. Be At One is aiming to be the go-to spot for the classic cocktail, with £5 Margaritas available mid-week and special limited-edition versions on the way.

  • Draught Beer: Yes, you read that right. You can now get a proper pint of Moretti, Jubel, or Guinness. This proved hugely popular at the Piccadilly trial, making up a big chunk of drinks sales, showing that even cocktail lovers fancy a beer sometimes.

  • Bar Bites: To go with the expanded drinks range, there’s now a food offer. The menu includes things like £4 chips and dips and even a pick & mix option, perfect for keeping hunger at bay while you catch up with friends.

The whole menu also has a nod to the brand’s history, with some 90s-inspired twists on cocktails sitting alongside the new creations, a tribute to its founding back in 1998. It’s a refreshed range that offers something for every guest.

Not just for big nights out anymore

The main goal behind this evolution is to make Be At One a spot for all kinds of occasions. It’s always been known for its high-energy party nights, and that’s not going away. But the brand wants to be just as appealing for after-work drinks or a chilled-out catch-up on a Tuesday evening. The atmosphere is designed to build throughout the day, starting relaxed and ramping up into the signature Be At One experience as the night goes on. This brand evolution is about flexibility.

And don’t worry, the famous Happy Hour is still a central part of the offer. It’s been updated to include not just 2-for-1 cocktails, but also special prices on beer, wine, and spirits, plus a 2 for £7 deal on shooters. This makes the bar a great value option for those earlier evening occasions. The entire experience, from the new brand creative and music to the updated menu, is designed to create a more versatile and engaging space for every guest, no matter the time of day. This is a real evolution for the Be At One brand.

Kicking things off in style in Leeds

To celebrate the launch of this new era, Be At One's sites in Leeds are hosting some brilliant events. They already kicked things off with a retro weekend from 27th to 29th March, where drinks were available at 1998 prices to honour the year the first bar opened. But the fun doesn’t stop there. Over the Easter weekend, from 2nd to 5th April, there’s a full programme of themed music nights to check out. It’s the perfect chance to experience the refreshed brand and new menu.

Here's the line-up for the Easter weekend:

  • Thursday (2nd April) – Collabs and Remixes

  • Friday (3rd April) – Pop Classics

  • Saturday (4th April) – 90s Revival

  • Sunday (5th April) – Disco Party

It sounds like a great way to explore the new drinks range, from the Collab Cocktails to the draught beer. This new focus promises a great experience for any cocktail fan or someone just after a good night out.

Stonegate Group CEO, David McDowall, explained the thinking behind the big change.

“Be At One has always been known for delivering incredible cocktail experiences and unforgettable nights out. What we’re doing now is building on that heritage and evolving the offer so that it feels even more relevant for today’s guests,” he said. “The success of the Piccadilly relaunch has shown how much appetite there is for a more versatile Be At One experience – one that celebrates the craft of our drinks, creates memorable moments for guests and works across more occasions, from daytime socials to late-night celebrations. This next chapter is about dialling up what we do best while making sure every visit feels intentional, energetic and fun.”
