Yorkshire Team

Published on February 5th, 2026

January can be a bit grim, can’t it? It’s cold, it’s dark, and everyone’s pretending to enjoy their new gym membership. But there’s one surefire way to beat the winter blues, and that’s with some seriously good comfort food. And if you’re looking for a proper feast, Trinity Kitchen is kicking off the new year with a brand-new line-up of street food vendors set to bring a bit of warmth and flavour back into everyone's lives. Since Tuesday, 27th January, a fresh batch of food wizards have set up shop, offering everything from hearty Irish spice bags to incredible Venezuelan arepas. It's the perfect excuse to ditch the meal prep for a day and treat yourself.

A taste of something different at Trinity Kitchen

One of the best things about the food scene at Trinity is that it never stands still. The team at Trinity Kitchen are always mixing things up, bringing in a rotating selection of street food vendors to sit alongside their permanent eateries. It means there’s always something new to try. Five exciting new names now call Trinity home. Food lovers can get ready to welcome Ka-Bao, Masri, 7 Star Flag, Doles Dirty Bag, and the much-loved Luna’s Schnitzel. They’ll be serving up their delicious dishes until Sunday, 29th March, giving everyone plenty of time to work their way through the menus.

So, what’s on the menu?

This new line-up is a proper trip around the world, with flavours to suit just about everyone. Whether someone is a meat-lover, a vegetarian, or looking for vegan options, these vendors have got it covered. It’s a real celebration of street food culture.

  • 7 Star Flag: Ever had Venezuelan arepas? If not, now is the chance. 7 Star Flag is bringing a taste of Venezuela to Leeds with its amazing gluten-free golden corn pockets. These things are packed with delicious fillings like tender, slow-cooked brisket or stir-fried chicken with grilled halloumi. They also do some seriously good loaded fries smothered in special sauces, with great options for both vegans and vegetarians. It’s the perfect winter warmer.

  • Doles Dirty Bags: They’re back! Anyone who loves a good spice bag will be thrilled to hear Doles Dirty Bags is returning. For the uninitiated, their Irish spice bags are legendary. Imagine a bag filled with crispy, heavily seasoned chips, fried chicken, peppers, and onions, all topped with a massive helping of curry sauce. It’s unreal. They’ve also added crispy beef strips in a spicy chilli sauce to the menu. And for the vegetarians out there, the tofu version is just as good.

  • Masri: Sometimes, you just need a brilliant burger. Masri is here to deliver just that. They’re serving up a selection of mouth-watering burgers, dripping with special sauces and packed with fresh salad inside a soft bun. The menu is Halal, and they also have fantastic choices for vegans and vegetarians. These aren’t just any burgers; they’re the kind you’ll be thinking about for days.

  • Luna’s Schnitzel: Another returning favourite, Luna’s Schnitzel is bringing back its iconic chicken schnitzels. This isn’t just any fried chicken. It’s a tender schnitzel topped with a rich cheese melt and a slow-roasted tomato sauce, all served on freshly baked challah bread. Finished with fresh tomatoes and gherkins, it’s a perfectly balanced bite. The soft challah bread really makes it special.

  • Ka-Bao: If fluffy bao buns are your thing, then Ka-Bao is the place to be. These things are the ultimate comfort food. The soft, pillowy bao buns are filled with incredible flavours, whether it’s spicy Sriracha, Korean BBQ, or crispy fried tofu. For those who want to go all out, the crispy fried chicken and loaded fries are an absolute must-try. Ka-Bao really knows how to pack a punch.

A place for everyone to get great food

The new line-up is all about bringing people together to enjoy amazing food from around the world. It’s about creating a fun, vibrant atmosphere where friends and family can explore new flavours. It’s this spirit that makes Trinity Kitchen such a popular spot.

Josie Towning, Food and Beverage Manager at Trinity Leeds, is clearly excited about the new arrivals. She said:

“We’re kicking off 2026 with a celebration of both classic favourites and exciting, culturally inspired dishes from some of our most loved food vendors. Our visitors have always loved indulging in their favourite treats, and we’re confident that this new street food lineup will not disappoint.”

“Trinity Kitchen is all about exploration and allowing people to discover new tastes and flavours in a welcoming, vibrant environment. It’s a place where family and friends can come together, enjoy a variety of dishes, and share memorable dining experiences all under one roof.”

And remember, these new street food vendors are joining the brilliant permanent eateries that are always on hand. So, alongside the new arrivals, diners can still grab food from places like Archie's, Clapping Seoul, Pho, Pizzaluxe, Rola Wala, and Thatziki. There really is something for every craving, from pizza at Pizzaluxe to amazing American-style diner food at Archie's.

Don't miss out on this street food line-up

This fantastic new mix of street food vendors won’t be around forever. They’ll be serving their amazing food at Trinity Kitchen from Tuesday, 27th January until Sunday, 29th March. It’s a limited-time opportunity to try some of the best street food the UK has to offer, all in one place. So, whether it’s the Venezuelan arepas from 7 Star Flag that have caught the eye, the comforting bao buns from Ka-Bao, or the promise of a gooey cheese melt on a chicken schnitzel from Luna's Schnitzel, now is the time to plan a visit.
