Welcome to Yorkshire

•Take an autumn walk or cycle ride along the Leeds and Liverpool Canal to historic Saltaire. This Leeds to Saltaire route is just over 13 miles, and is a popular and attractive part of the Sustrans National Cycle Network.

Make sure you stop at one of the many attractions en route. The path from Leeds to Saltaire passes a museum, a medieval abbey and some picturesque countryside before reaching the UNESCO World Heritage Site of Saltaire.

Saltaire’s Victorian model village has a number of galleries, shops and independent cafes to explore. And there’s a train station so you can hitch a ride back afterwards to Leeds.
