Families in Yorkshire have something exciting to look forward to this May half term as the much-loved Kids’ Carnival makes its return to the White Rose Shopping Centre. From 21st to 31st May, The Village will be transformed into a vibrant fairground, offering a fantastic array of rides and games for children of all ages.
What to Expect at the Carnival
The Kids’ Carnival is designed to be a fun-filled experience, offering a variety of entertainment options that are sure to delight both kids and adults alike. Some of the attractions set to make an appearance include:
Runaway Train
Dodgems
Twister
Water balls
Teacups
Fun House
Monster Trucks
Hook-a-Duck games
With such a wide range of attractions, thrill-seekers will have plenty to keep them entertained. The carnival will be open daily from 11am to 9pm during the school holidays and weekends, and from 3pm to 8pm on weekdays.




Pricing and Special Offers
Visitors can enjoy the carnival attractions by purchasing ride tokens priced at £1.20 each, or they can buy bundles of 10 tokens for £10. There are also special offers available for Blue Light Card holders, making it easier for families to enjoy a day out without breaking the bank.
Quiet Morning for Sensory-Friendly Fun
To ensure that the event is accessible to everyone, a special Quiet Morning session will be held on Tuesday, 26th May, from 11am to 12pm. During this time, rides will operate without music, providing a more sensory-friendly environment for guests who may need it.
Food and Drink Options
No carnival experience is complete without delicious food and drink. White Rose Shopping Centre will offer a range of tasty options to satisfy every palate. From sweet treats to savoury snacks, there will be something for everyone to enjoy while soaking up the carnival atmosphere.
