Welcome to Yorkshire
News • September 8th, 2025
|Get ready for some proper laughs because Rosie Jones, one of the sharpest and funniest comedians around, is hitting the road again in 2025. There's been an official announcement about a massive new UK tour for a brand-new show called 'I Can't Tell What She's Saying'.
Anyone who has seen Rosie on telly knows this is going to be brilliant. The tour will see this top actor and writer visit a theatre near you, and it's a chance to see her live, telling it like it is. This is more than just a comedy gig; it's an event.

So, what's this new tour all about?
The new stand-up show, 'I Can't Tell What She's Saying', promises to get into all the big stuff. Think being single, the weird pressures of representing whole groups of people, and... gravy. And boobs. It's that classic Rosie Jones mix of cheeky, charming, and seriously clever comedy. She's not afraid to call herself a prick, and as The Guardian once said, 'Seldom can an hour in a prick's company have been more enjoyable'. That's a pretty solid review, right?
Her jokes are always spot on. iTalkTelly put it perfectly: 'Her jokes are beautifully crafted with no beat wasted and punchlines that take you by surprise'. This tour is the perfect chance to see that genius at work. She's bringing her unique blend of humour to towns and cities all over the UK. Her last international tour, Triple Threat, was a huge success, even getting nominated for Most Outstanding Show at the Melbourne Comedy Festival. She's a powerhouse on stage, and this new show is set to be her best yet. This is live comedy at its finest.
More than just a stand-up comedian
It's easy to forget just how much Rosie does. She's not just a brilliant comedian; she's also a talented writer and actor. Soon, she'll be starring in her very first sitcom called *Pushers* on Channel 4. In the show, she plays Emily, a super-smart, funny young woman with cerebral palsy who, after losing her benefits, decides to build a drug empire. It sounds wild, but it's a genius idea. People have underestimated her character her whole life, which turns out to be the perfect disguise. What a brilliant concept for a TV series!
And her TV credits are endless. Of course, there's Taskmaster, but she's also been on Live At The Apollo, QI, 8 Out Of 10 Cats Does Countdown, and loads more. She's also a BAFTA-nominated talent, having made two travel series, Mission: Accessible and Trip Hazard. Rosie has also fronted some really important programmes, like her hard-hitting Channel 4 documentary Am I A Rtard?, which tackled online abuse and disability hate speech head-on. She's also popped up in massive dramas like Silent Witness and Call The Midwife, proving she can handle serious acting roles just as well as comedy.
From the screen to the page
On top of all that, Rosie is an accomplished author. She's written for the huge Netflix series Sex Education, which is pretty cool. But she also has her own bestselling children's book series, The Amazing Edie Eckhart. The legendary author Jacqueline Wilson even called the first book a "brilliant book - fresh, funny and ultra cool".
That's massive praise. Last year, Rosie released her first non-fiction book too, called Moving On Up: Beat the bullies, make fearless friendships and deal with funny fails. It's all about helping young people navigate the tricky parts of growing up. She is a true multi-talented creator.
Making a real difference with the Rosie Jones Foundation
As if she wasn't busy enough, Rosie has just set up the Rosie Jones Foundation. This is a brilliant new charity with a mission to empower people and change minds. Its main goals are to fight against isolation and make sure everyone feels included.
The foundation is starting by focusing on two big things: getting people with cerebral palsy the right kind of mental health support from people who really get it, and building a sense of community through workshops and special events. The new UK tour is a great way to support this, as there will be exclusive in-person events linked to the foundation announced soon. It's amazing to see someone use their platform to talk about disability and do so much good.
How to get tickets for the Rosie Jones tour
Right, the important bit! How can people get tickets? The main announcement was made on Wednesday, 7th May. Mark these dates in the calendar:
- Presale tickets: Available from 11am on Thursday, 8th May. A presale is an early chance to buy tickets, often for fans on a mailing list.
- General sale tickets: Available from 11am on Friday, 9th May. This is when tickets are available for everyone to buy.
The tour is happening all over the country, from September right through to December. There are loads of dates, including several in October, so hopefully, there's a show nearby. Here's the full list of dates and venues:

Important info for the shows
Making sure everyone can enjoy the show is super important. That's why there is an option for BSL (British Sign Language) interpretation and/or captioning at the gigs. Captioning is like subtitles for a live show, displaying the spoken words on a screen. If anyone needs these services, it's best to contact the theatre venue directly to ask about what's available for their specific date. They'll have all the information needed to make sure the experience is a great one.
