Nice little shop with plenty of choices. Fresh fruit and vegetables, books corner, home corner and bakery. Location is really good at the heart of city centre and near the shopping centre. The staff are very friendly and helpful. The downside is that they do not have parking area.
Absolutely disgusted that Sainsbury’s would not accept my 18 year old son’s armed forces ID. Supporting our troops? I think not…
I rarely come to Sainsbury’s, not due to the store itself, but due to convenience issues. However, several weeks ago, I was visiting a member of my family up north and stumbled across this Sainsbury’s with my elderly grandmother. This is when I met Farhan, I don’t say this a lot but appraisal is due when you meet such an exceptional member of society. Farhan was welcoming into the store, and ensured that it was cheers all around. When it came to checking through my shopping, he was prompt to assist my elderly grandmother with her groceries as we struggled to carry them out, until we were able to gain assistance from other family members. It’s very rare to gain such a high standard of service from any supermarket, and his personality alone would be enough to bring me back in the future. Promote! Promote! Promote!
I saw an elderly woman had fallen over and was bleeding just past this Sainsbury's store, I spoke to Hifza and her customer service is first class, without hesitation she supplied me with some plasters to help out the lady, the elderly lady was very thankful to me, but it is Hifza who deserves the credit.
Honestly the staff here are usually lovely but I find it a little pathetic that, as a 23 year old man while a full beard, I was just ID checked for an energy drink
