NRD GOES NEON: ROLLER DERBY TRIPLE HEADER

On August 1st make sure to grab your friends and family and head over to Lee Westwood Sports Centre for a day of live roller derby sponsored by Neon Raptor Brewing Co! Including THREE roller derby games: > Retro Racers vs. Crushing Blows > Nottingham Roller Derby Bolts vs. Manchester Valkyries B> Nottingham Roller Derby Arrows vs. Manchester Valkyries A Unfamiliar with roller derby? Come along and find out what it's all about! Expect to see a fast-paced, full-contact sport on skates. There will be hard hitting, skilled skating and a hell of a lot of team spirit. As well as these fantastic full-length games of roller derby, we'll have a great range of stalls on the day, including an always-popular cake and savoury treats stand and an exciting raffle.This is a family friendly event - children under the age of 16 are welcome free of charge. Please note that under 18s are not permitted in the track-side seating area for safety reasons. Schedule- 10am: Doors Open- 10:30am: First whistle for Game 1- Retro Racers vs. Crushing Blows (Neon Raptor sponsored Rookie Game)- 12:30pm: First whistle for Game 2- Nottingham Roller Derby Bolts vs. Manchester Valkyries B- 2:30pm: First whistle for Game 3- Nottingham Roller Derby Arrows vs. Manchester Valkyries A   Accessibility:Lee Westwood Sports Centre is fully wheelchair accessible with step-free access to the hall and accessible toilets. Carers enter for free. Rookie Game:- Open to skaters who have played 5 or fewer games (or by coach discretion)- Must be deemed safe to play by your league.- Follows WFTDA gender policy (open to identifying female, non-binary, and gender-expansive skaters).- £8 to play + £10 customised top (sponsored by Neon Raptor Brewing!)- Purchase your ticket here and look out for an email/ text with more information!Spectator Tickets:- Advance Tickets: £8- Advance Concession* Advance Tickets: £4- Advance Group Tickets (4 entries): £26- Under 16s: Free- Carers: Free   Concession tickets:Available for those with disabilities, seniors, and full-time students.   Charity Raffle:Proceeds from our raffle will be donated towards Nottinghamshire Refugee Forum whose work supports asylum seekers and refugees in Nottingham and Nottinghamshire in gaining just outcomes, rebuilding their lives and integrating into society.   Parking:- Lots of parking is available around the campus. When you arrive please look for the MAIN car park entrance on campus. There will be a parking barrier code in place that you can use to access.
