We are delighted to be able to offer this much sought after and highly limited wine. Intense ruby red in colour, Tignanello 2020 is remarkable on the nose for its complexity. Notes of ripe red fruits such as cherries preserved in spirits, sour cherries, raspberries and plums complement delicate spicy aromas of cloves and licorice; sweet balsamic notes of mint and chocolate complete its complex bouquet. On the palate it is rich, mouth-filling and vibrant with supple velvety tannins. Fantastic. The Antinori estate remains to be one of the oldest and most prestigious of wineries throughout Italy. Remarkably it is now the family's 26th generation that has taken over the reigns- there can be very few wineries in the World that can make that kind of claim. Probably most famous for their range of Chianti wines from Northern Italy which we showcase on the site, they also have well established wineries further South around Orvieto; more centrally near Montalcino and on the West Coast near Bolgheri. Brilliant year after year. Predominantly Sangiovese blended with small quantities of Cabernet Sauvignon and Cabernet Franc.
