Ilegal Joven Mezcal, 70 cl

An unaged mezcal from Ilegal, originally produced for the Café no Sé in Guatemala and thankfully now making its way out into the wider world. Ilegal Joven Mezcal is one example of the brand?s great drink variety. It is distilled from fermented Espadín agaves. This type of agave is the genetic predecessor of the blue agave, the traditional basis of tequila. In the case of Ilegal Joven, the Espadín agave once again proves its versatility by triggering aromas of citrus, green apple and a hint of white pepper.
