We are dlighted to be able to offer this highly limited wine. Savory and fresh the 2021 Cervaro della Sala is a luminous straw yellow in colour streaked with occasional greenish highlights. The nose shows light toasted notes accompanied by aromas of citrus fruit, tropical fruit and hints of butter. Characteristics of chamomile, white fruit and flint along with a pleasurable persistence and tasting depth. Its youth is already inviting and enjoyable announces much capacity for aging. Another superb wine from Marchese Antinori. The Antinori estate remains to be one of the oldest and most prestigious of wineries throughout Italy. Remarkably it is now the family's 26th generation that has taken over the reigns- there can be very few wineries in the World that can make that kind of claim. Probably most famous for their range of Chianti wines from Northern Italy which we showcase on the site, they also have well established wineries further South around Orvieto; more centrally near Montalcino and on the West Coast near Bolgheri. An absolute treat. A blend of Chardonnay and Grechetto.
