A sparkling wine with all the history and know how of the great Champagne House Moet & Chandon behind it- so you know you are in safe hands! Chandon's winery in Mendoza has the stunning backdrop of the Andes Mountains which separate Argentina from Chile. It is these very mountains that hold back rain from the region but provide water for the vines by snow melt and almost nothing else. The arid area is therefore excellent for growing vines and producing wines of the highest quality. A classic blend of Chardonnay and Pinot Noir produces a very high quality sparkling wine indeed- not something you might have connected with Argentina before. It is well worth the discovery too. Lovely floral and citrus hints balanced with acidity to produce a crisply dry sparkling wine.
