Shires Waterford Three Ring Dutch Gag, Silver

The Waterford Mouth is a chain-style jointed bit with ball shaped links. The multi-link design makes the Waterford a severe bit, as the pressure is spread over the tongue and bars of the mouth. The bit is fully moveable and collapsible if the horse attempts to lean too much. Poll pressure is applied when set up with two reins, but the gag can also be used with one rein if used with roundings.
