Greyhound F1 is an early-maturing, reliable cabbage that forms high-quality, densely packed pointed heads with excellent flavour. Sow in autumn for a harvest the following summer, or sow in spring to extend harvesting into autumn; young leaves can be picked early as tender spring greens. Sow indoors February–May in modular trays or sow outdoors, spacing plants 45cm apart, and keep soil firm, fertile and well drained. Keep plants well-watered and protect from caterpillars and pigeons for healthy crops.
