Borde Hill Summer Series presents Nile Rodgers & CHIC

Nile Rodgers & CHIC bring their legendary, era-defining live show to Borde Hill Parklands, Haywards Heath, West Sussex on Thursday 13th August, headlining a huge open-air summer event in one of the South East's most stunning outdoor settings. With gates opening from 4pm, fans can expect a full day of music stacked with a legendary lineup and topped off by one of the greatest hitmakers in modern music history.   A true musical icon, Nile Rodgers is a Rock & Roll Hall of Fame and Songwriters Hall of Fame inductee, Grammy Lifetime Achievement Award recipient, and one of the most influential producers, composers and guitarists of all time. As co-founder of CHIC, Rodgers helped shape the sound of pop, disco and dance music with era-defining classics including Le Freak - the biggest selling single in Atlantic Records' history, and Good Times, a track that laid the foundations for hip-hop and continues to be sampled and celebrated worldwide.   Beyond CHIC, Rodgers' unmistakable groove has powered global hits for David Bowie (Let's Dance), Madonna (Like a Virgin), Diana Ross (I'm Coming Out), Sister Sledge (We Are Family), Duran Duran (The Reflex), Daft Punk (Get Lucky), and more recently Beyoncé (Cuff It).
