Schloss Reinhartshausen's Grand Cru site is amongst the best in the world. For the cellar masters of Schloss Reinhartshausen, it is both an honour and a pleasure to be able to work with the grapes grown from these vineyards. The Siegelsberg site extends over the Schlossberg and Marcobrunn sites, in the direction of Hattenheim, where it borders on the site Wisselbrunnen. The soil differs from the Marcobrunn, as it has a lesser proportion of clay. The microclimate, with its cooler than average temperature and extraordinarily good air circulation, influences the character of the wine. The grapes of these Grand Cru wines are gently pressed by wooden presses.
