Great resteraunt, at 1st I couldnt find it as its upstairs and the entrance is down a side passage, but just follow your nose as the smells are amazing. Plenty of tables and lots to choose from on the menu. Indian street food is such a change from normal curries and there all so tasty. Friendly staff and the decor was nice too.
Staying locally for the weekend we booked the restaurant based on the reviews and we were not disappointed ! We were glad we checked out the location in advance though as it’s above some shops and the entrance is slightly hidden away down an alleyway. Not your traditional Indian with a much shorter menu but still plenty of choice. Every dish we had was beautiful, really well spiced and balanced and so many lovely flavours and not a criticism to be made. Portions were generous too, I brought home a decent biriyani takeaway as there was too much to finish. Service was friendly and attentive. Very highly recommended!
Really delicious, fresh, vibrant dishes. The service was fantastic. The staff are so attentive and helpful. We had a wood pigeon starter which was amazing and then a butter chicken and prawn curry. Everything we ordered was delicious. We went on valentines evening so a welcome drink and homemade cupcake were a very thoughtful surprise. Thanks so much, we’ll definitely be back.
Each dish is seasoned well and has a unique flavour. Staff are lovely and welcoming. Edit: Unfortunately there is no longer a good range of vegan options on the menu which is a real shame. Nothing is actually marked vegan on the menu and instead is just referred as ‘veg’ referring to vegetarian options.
A truly amazing experience, the food here was absolutely fantastic. The dishes are so different from any other Indian restaurant I've ever been to. The flavours were just out of this world. The menu is smaller than other restaurants but don't be put off by this, because it maybe small but big in flavours!! With this they can concentrate on making every dish to perfection and seems to work really well. Everything was just brilliant, including the amazing service from Vimal. I'd like to say a big thank you for bringing this to Northallerton, it's just what we needed! 😁
