We have used jacks for a few years. Food has definitely changed recently. The Satay Chicken was watery and pretty tasteless. And the salt and pepper crispy chicken was not like it used to be. Also over £4 for some rice is crazy. Maybe just a one off? Try the Thai seasons instead.
We are regulars for the buffet, £22 per adult and £10 per child. You order from the menu, and everything is cooked fresh. The mixed appetisers are good to start with. Then the roast duck, more chicken sesame toast, and spring rolls. Spare ribs, and special fu yung. Great value for money, as long as you have an appetite. Staff are very Friendly and attentitive. It's our best chinese restaurant in the whole of Yorkshire. 10 out of 10 from us. Will be returning soon. Advisable to book.
Just had the all you can eat buffet. We hadn't been for ages and I must say the food was excellent. Have waddled home. Will definitely go again and won't leave it so long.
Been here a few times now, under new management and what a difference. The food was tasty, staff were polite and quick. We'll definitely be coming back!
My daughter ordered a takeaway whilst we were on holiday and it was so good we booked a table, highly satisfied, the food was delicious, we are a family of 4 and opted for the "All you can eat menu" we all tried something different from the menu and we were all full up when we left, highly recommended and we will definitely be coming back, Ada (front of house) was lovely and helpful 5 Stars from us ⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐
