Ordered 6 items - 3 were out of stock. No courtesy call to let me know half my order wasn’t available. When Deliveroo contacted them to cancel, Morrisons refused, saying the order was already being “prepared.” I was forced to accept an order I no longer wanted, simply because it was “too much hassle” for them to put items back on the shelf. Really lacking customer service. P.s. You’re not a restaurant where cancelling means wasted food. You have staff putting items back on shelves every day when customers change their minds. Also the 3 items I’m not bothered about as main ones I wanted were out of stock still haven’t arrived it’s been over 2,5h for packaged items of the shelf. No cooking required :)
As a supermarket it is spacious with a medium product range and has a good store layout. Sometimes they don't have enough checkout staff working to encourage people to use the self service, I find that off putting. I don't recommend the café. As there can be long waits for food and the food served is sometimes not of good quality.
First visit here . Good disabled parking and good access to the shop . Very impressed with the standard of the cafe !!! Pity its so far from home . Well worth the extra few mile drive
The shop was lovely, but the piped music was ridiculously loud, so much so, we had trouble communicating with the till staff, who were suffering badly, the music wasn't so had in the store, but once you got to the tills, it was much much too loud
Do all our shopping at Morrisons but lately at the Pontefract sore you cannot get parked , people are parking in the 2 hr parking bays , a couple of times this last month we’ve had to go els-ware for our shopping , why they stopped redeeming parking charges at the checkout is beyond me , Morrisons your letting your customer's down
