It comprises two structures: an outer church constructed in the 14th and 15th centuries, which was ruined during the Civil War, and a smaller inner church completed in the late 1960s. The church was awarded Grade II Listed status in 1950.
All Saints Church All Saints Church presents a delightful walk amidst enchanting ancient ruins. Located a mere stone's throw from the medieval Pontefract Castle, it offers numerous photographic opportunities to seize a fragment of antiquity. The church comprises two edifices: an outer church built in the 14th and 15th centuries, later devastated during the English Civil War, and a smaller, preserved inner church. Several parking spots are conveniently available in front of the church. Informative blue plaques dot the landscape, recounting the site's rich history. It is a worthwhile visit in any weather.
So peaceful and Magnificent place. I would recommend to take visit during Opening hours. You’ll amazed to see this heritage from inside out.
Beautiful exterior and grounds (as we did not go in). It was really nice to have a walk around and see the new built into the old, quite interesting.
Great place to see with a bit of ruin with new built on top. The graveyard is pretty interesting too which only seems to date within a hundred year period
