We have been here many times before however today we have left feeling rather deflated by the whole experience We got their around 20 minutes before the game and ordered drinks. We got told there was a few drinks before ours which was fine and we sat down We sat down and waited for the drinks, however 15 minutes passed and we needed to go back to the bar to ask where thy were to be told they had forgotten to do them and they would make them. As they arrived it was time to go into the room, which was booked for 9pm And we got in at 9.10pm which we could bring the drinks in with us however the idea was to enjoy them before her room When in the room we got too many clues in my view, prompting our quickest escape of approx 35 minutes and as we was leaving the room we was told the bar was shut however we could sit down to enjoy our drinks There was no offer to take our picture, which a other group who just came out had been offered We sat down to finish our drinks and chat about the escape room and at 10pm we was told they closed at 10pm however was going to keep the bar open a little longer. However it felt very much we want you to leave now I don’t understand how they have an escape room booking at 9pm and the place closes at 10pm. It felt very much they wanted to ensure their shift finished on time Hence all the clues We both left very underwhelmed by the whole experience . I think we have done all the escape rooms at the site now, however, it is now how I would of wanted our last escape room here to feel
Went last night (2nd January 2026) when happy hour was on, the girl behind the bar really didn’t seem to want to be there and was chatting to a friend. Asked for a cocktail and they had run out of the spirit that was needed and the girl really was not bothered. Maybe get some staff that have good customer service!
Me and my sister have done this twice now and we did the wizard theme room today which we really enjoyed !! The staff were so nice but I unfortunately didn’t get their names (we were there at 4:30pm-5:40pm) so a massive thankyou to them ✨
The young lady running the front desk was professional and very good. The experience was great except for a couple of little minuses: 1. Puzzles in the room were great except for a couple which were a little abstract and didn't have a clear link to explain what to do next so we had to get extra clues from the desk. 2. The QR code to order drinks didn't work as there was no signal or WiFi. 3. The rooms were warm, uncomfortably so. Other than these the experience was great and the hour flew by for our group. We will definitely be back!
Did the cell escape room today. We turned up five mins late and staff there said our time had already started. Fair enough that was our fault. It took a while for the H&S briefing to start before the background info on the room got going so lost another 5/10mins there. The lock for the first puzzle would not open so again lost more time there and the manager had to come in to admit that the lock was broken. We were given a little bit more time to try and escape the room however we had no idea the time on the room was 30mins and in any other escape room we have done there has always been a timer counting down to how much time you have left to escape. Staff came in and said they had another group coming in now and we needed to vacate the room. We enjoy escape rooms and have done quite a few over the years but this was the first time I feel like the room has been a bit of a swizz. You could still make out puzzles written on the wall that had been painted over so there was another red herring that we were following for a while. I just hope the group in after us were told the lock wasn’t working
