Wide open grassed Park. Dog friendly. Quiet busy with school kids some afternoon/evenings.

It needs more things for kids of all ages to play on, from toddlers to teens. There's a huge grassy area that's not used that could be developed as another play area or picnic zone for families. One of the footpaths is only wide enough for one person, so given the fact it's a main route for young mothers with prams, kids and dogs in tow, inevitably when they pass one another on the narrow path, someone has to submit and go onto the dog dirt and grime. Wakefield council tend to go partway with most of their thinking and sadly this park is another example of that and missed opportunities. Spend some cash, council! Let's get it right! Could do better!

Nice little park. Play area for children, no poop bins but plenty of space for poochies to run around.
