Nuns Cottage Bed & Breakfast

Stayed here with friends for two nights. Spotlessly clean, comfortable bed, and a great breakfast. A very short walk takes you in to town, where there is a good selection of restaurants. Helen (the owner) not only recommended a good Italian but booked it for us as well. Your bathroom is not part of the room you just go a few paces down the landing but it is exclusively for your use and again is spotless. I would certainly stay here again.

Excellent B&B that ticks all the boxes at a good price point. Great location, very comfortable beds and a good selection of breakfast options catering to different dietary preferences e.g. vegan. Helen is a bubbly and engaging host and the welcome cream tea was the icing on the cake. Would highly recommend!

Nuns Cottage is amazing. Helen is a fabulous warm and kind hostess. Our double room was fantastic and comfortable and very tasteful. Our host Helen was very welcoming, providing us with jam and cream scones with coffee on arrival. The accommodation was immaculate and attention to detail was fantastic. The cooked breakfast was very tasty and set us up for the morning. Location was central and 2 minutes walk to shops. Helen provided us with a parking permit for the stay. We will definitely be returning if we're visiting the area.

Our time at Nuns cottage was greatly enjoyed by myself and partner. Helen is the greatest of hosts and cooks a mean breakfast. The complimentary cream tea was out of this world!! A great selection of other breakfast choices are also available. Our room and bathroom were both immaculate. We would highly recommend Nuns cottage for anybody wishing to visit Ruchmond given the short walk to town and further the great hospitality you would receive.
