My partner suprised me with a weekend away in the beautiful Maple Lodge for my 21st birthday and we was blown away. I loved the personalised note and the gift that was left for me. The Lodge was immaculate and had everything you needed. The bed was so comfortable. The hottub was at the right temperature on arrival overlooking a beautiful scenary. The logburner made a cozy evening while watching the TV. We will be returning.
Wow what can I say about the stunning Chestnut Lodge at Flowery Dell near Richmond Yorkshire, it’s a home away from home and a credit to the owners. It was a last minute holiday decision to book somewhere but I’m so glad we chose Flowery Dell as it was exactly the peace and tranquility we needed. Chestnut lodge is beautifully clean, all appliances, furniture and soft furnishings are top quality including the hot tub which has stunning views. The hot tub is checked twice daily to ensure everything is tip top which the norm is once a day from previous experience. You have every kitchen essential you could want, the owners also provide a lovely gas barbecue and utensils all I can say is the owners have definitely thought of everything to make your stay as comfortable as possible. They even provide an extensive list of places to eat and visit far more than I’ve ever known previously, we tried some of the places to eat and we weren’t This was our first visit to Flowery Dell but we’ll 100% be back as we love Chestnut Lodge.
Love this cabin. Love the location. Love the sauna and undercover hot tub ( both immaculate). Love the safe, cosy and comfortable feeling. Love the cleanliness. Love the extras provided to ensure you have everything you need. Love the bed. Love the wifi. Love the local area. I pretty much love everything about this holiday cabin. Thank you for the lovely welcoming hamper, we loved it!
Very pleasant log cabins near Richmond very quiet and relaxing and excellent if you want to bring dogs .
Great place to relax, if you like your history , you are close to some great locations including Durham Cathedral, Barnard Castle, and if you are train buff then the Rail museum at Shildon.
