The Frenchgate bed and breakfast

Beautiful grade 2 listed guest house in the heart of Richmond. The biggest bed I've ever slept in in a warm stunning room. Fluffy towels, bottles of water fresh milk and a lovely view. Jennifer was the perfect host, friendly warm and welcoming and couldn't do enough for us. The breakfast was amazing with plenty of options and served with the warmest smile. Highly recommended and the only place id stay when returning to Beautiful Richmond 😍

Beautiful Georgian house in the heart of Richmond. Parking to the rear of the property was easy to find and ample room. Jennifer was the perfect host, meeting us on arrival and showing us to our very large ensuite room which was spotlessly clean and well equipped with tea and coffee facilities and bottled water. The bathroom was large with fluffy towels and toiletries and a large wall in shower. Plenty of choice at breakfast to set you up for a days exploring of the beautiful countryside just on your doorstep.

We booked a last minute deluxe double room for one night and we weren't disappointed. Spotlessly clean, furnished to a very high standard and a great price. Great choice of breakfast which was lovely and Jennifer was the perfect host and really friendly. We'll definitely be going again and hopefully for longer next time. Malc and Ann

Had a lovely one night stay with my partner last night.one of the best breakfasts ive had quality was first class the owner/host was a friendly and enthusiastic very informative regarding the area of richmond.The rooms are first class with fresh milk on the landing fridge which i found a great touch as we hate cartin milk. The building is a magnificent grade 2 listed and very near the centre of richmond.love it we will be back!

Our second stay here and we will be back. Jennifer is lovely so kind and helpful. The rooms are lovely lots of nice little touches. Location perfect Breakfast delicious. Can't wait to come back.
