Bought a pair of shoes after trying them in store. Took them home to try on and found they would rub up my ankles. Took them back 30mins after buying them and they refused to refund because they were 'used'. A little cloth could have dusted them back into mint condition and they refused. The store manager and assistant outright refused to refund. I'm now 60 pounds out of pock and have a pair of hikers that I can't use. Be careful as they don't put their customers first and will refuse refunds.

I was in the store today and met one of your colleagues, a mature lady that had a sense of humour as well as being so very helpful. I am on holiday in the area and wanted to update my waterproof jacket, she was very knowledgeable and pointed me in the right direction while going through the different waterproofness of different jackets. I only went in for a jacket and came out with quick dry trousers, cap and a small rucksack. She was brilliant, funny, friendly and knowledgeable, you have a real asset there

Great staff and service. Carrying a huge range of outdoor products from tents, boots to coats and everything in between. The location on the edge of the Yorkshire Dales makes it a great must have if you are staying locally, or if you are walking the coast to coast walk. Local service backed by national brand.

Loved this store - there’s an older male member of staff possibly called Pete who was so helpful and guided me when buying a pair of walking boots - such a delight to get such good service and will buy my walking kit from you in future because of this !!

Covid screen at checkout, card payment only. Good selection of warm jackets, lots of discounts right now (mid December). Disk parking right outside. Friendly and helpful staff.
