Liz and Gez Cornish offer you a warm, friendly welcome at Cordilleras House Bed & Breakfast in a beautiful, Grade II listed Georgian town house built in the early 1800s. It offers views overlooking Richmond Cricket Ground, Richmond's Norman castle keep and Friary Tower, and is just three minutes level walk from Richmond's historic town centre, with its large, impressive Georgian market place.

Recent, sympathetic refurbishment ensures your stay will be comfortable, while you enjoy the unique character of the historic house. Our accommodation includes three rooms, two doubles with en-suite facilities and the third, a triple or family room, with a large, dedicated shower-room with gowns provided in the bedroom.

On arrival you will be greeted with a freshly made drink and delicious home-baking. In the morning, your freshly prepared breakfast will be cooked from locally-sourced produce.

We warmly welcome tourists including walkers, cyclists and bikers and business people. We are directly on the famous Coast-to-Coast long distance footpath, with Richmond marking the half-way point, so why not treat yourself to a well-earned rest and stay for two nights? We have secure bike storage facilities. We pride ourselves on our high quality accommodation and friendly service.

Coverdale

This bedroom boasts a king-size bed and original inset cupboards now used as a hanging area and shelves. The luxurious en suite shower-room includes a drenching 'cloud' shower in a large walk-in shower area and under-floor heating. Coordinating woollen rugs provide comfort under-foot.

Wensleydale

Our largest bedroom can easily accommodate three adults, or a family of four with a young child in a travel cot, in one king-size bed and one single bed. A two-seater settee and coffee table ensure you can relax in comfort to read or watch television. Its double-aspect windows, including a panoramic view across the cricket ground, make this a lovely bright room.

As your large, dedicated private shower-room is across the landing, luxury towelling bath robes are provided for your comfort. The double-size shower cubicle is equipped with a pressurised shower to leave you feeling refreshed.

Swaledale

Equipped as our luxury room, Swaledale has a superking-sized bed, which can be also be arranged as two single beds, a 32 inch television and an en suite which includes both a bath and 'cloud' shower. Seating is in two tub chairs, where you can relax with a cup of tea or coffee whilst reading, watching television or the cricket across the road.
