A tale from Richmomd....

Lewis carroll went to school in Richmond for 6 years when his father was vicar at Croft. A Lewis Carroll researcher visited Frenchgate Guest House, and said that the Dell in picture in our Gallery, in front of the Easby Abbey, is were the Mad Hatter’s Tea Party took place in Lewis Carroll's minds eye!
