B&Q Rotherham

I visited this store twice recently while working on a project and both times the staff were incredibly helpful, taking me to the right place and helping me check what I was buying against my list/drawing. They listened to my questions, offered advice and told me the cheapest way to get what I needed, even letting me have some spare washers, screws and plugs for free! Great service.

Not long been open , situated in the Great Eastern Retail Park where The Range and B&M are . Not the biggest shop but it has quite a range of stuff. The store seemed clean and the staff helpful.

My husband and I recently moved into a new house and lately we have constantly needed something from B&Q - Each time we walk into the store we are met by the wonderful Abbie!! She has helped us on multiple occasions and her advice is top tier!! No matter what she is doing she will put that aside to assure she can help you anyway possible! Thanks Abbie!

Went in this morning to take paint back and purchase multiple testers 2 lovely helpful young men were on shift. Went back this evening to buy more paint to 2 women on shift, absolutely awful service, paint counter was serving a customer that took over half hr. I stood at paint counter despite no other customers in store and still no one came to paint counter to help serve, I eventually put back what would have been over £150 of paint, and walked out past both members of staff in the door way that didn't even comment, sadly won't be going back. To the manager, the staff on this evening really need to learn some customer service skills from the young men on this morning as there losing the company customers and money. Really bad service this evening, worse I've encountered in a long time. Date of experience 21.07.25

Just went in for some light bulbs and some paint. The particular light bulbs that I needed, they don't stock!! I wanted a tin of Dulux Paint in a particular colour in gloss. They advertise on the front of the shop for any paint in any colour! Yes you can have any paint in any range off the shelf, as long as it's white!! You can have any other colour as long as it's their brand but they admitted that it will not match the colour that you need to finish a job off!! We will not be going back there to be insulted!! It's a big building that echoes, every time someone comes into it via the front door it bleeps, which is no good for someone who has autism!!. The staff can't be bothered about helping you with a query or they don't know what it is that you are asking about!! B&Q take notice and take action before you lose anymore customers as there's a lot of other people who are not happy with it!
