Brilliant centre dose a lovely game of bingo on Monday night and Thursday night 5.30 to 08.00 and a lovely coffee morning
Booked the hall for 2 hours for a textile art group. A keyholder was supposed to meet us to open up. We were assured cleaning practices were in place to meet covid requirements. Nobody turned up but the back door was open when we arrived. We could see through the window that there were workmen in the room eating their lunch. When our meeting was due to start we too went in through the back door but took time to wipe away the coffee cup rings and mess from the tables and used anti bacterial spray we found in the kitchen to clean through. Once we'd done that we could start - following the council guidelines of wearing masks and opening the windows that we'dbeen sent prior to the meeting. Nobody came to unlock the front door which is a fire exit so on another front it was not entirely safe. Had we had to leave in a hurry we would have been required to go through a salon, a kitchen and then a narrow corridor. I will be in contact with the council to raise my concerns as despite being a good space to rent it is not a safe environment.
Really enjoyed it will be there next week
