Ten years since I'd been here, I used to go every few months over many years. Thankfully, the new owner has upheld (and maybe improved upon), the fantastic standards Capri held dear to its heart. The food was fantastic, properly cooked by a lovely chef. Atmosphere added to by it being someone's birthday. Staff very friendly and kind. The wine list was cleverly short, reasonably priced, and excellent. Well done! to the new age of Capri
We’ve just had an amazing meal at Capri Italian Restaurant Absolutely outstanding experience from start to finish. The team went above and beyond to create a bespoke menu for our friend’s birthday, and every single course was incredible. We were treated to a beautiful mixed starter of stuffed mushrooms, bruschetta and garlic bread, followed by the most delicious seafood risotto and a rich mushroom tagliatelle finished with truffle oil. A traditional lemon sorbet cleansed the palate perfectly before a final meatloaf dish that was full of flavour and cooked to perfection. Everything was thoughtfully planned, beautifully presented and tasted amazing. You could really tell how much care and attention went into creating a special meal for us. A truly memorable evening – thank you for making our friend’s birthday so special. Highly recommended.
Brilliant Italian restaurant. The staff are always friendly, the atmosphere is welcoming and cosy, the menu is nicely varied and the food is always 10/10. We’ve been a few times in the last 12 months and every experience has been great. Best restaurant in Selby!
Just had a lovely birthday meal Sunday evening. Charming little place. Very authentic little taverna style place. No frills. All about the food and we loved it. Family of 4 inc alcohol £130. Spent £200 at Bella vita Garforth last week and if anything Capri was a nicer experience.
Went today (Sunday) had a beautiful meal. Staff all very friendly and the food was delicious. Will be back again :)
