Went for garlic bread instead of chips—big mistake. It was hard, flavourless, and stale. The pizzas were disappointing, especially for the premium price. The Mariana sauce on the Carni lacked depth. Given the hype in Selby, it fell short of expectations. There seems to be a theme of lack of flavour. Doesn't help that somehow for a pizza it took 2 hours from ordering to delivery. Ordered at around 18:00 Due in: 19:10 Arrived: 19:50 Even the dirty mayo, unsure what addition seasoning is added to make it 'dirty' as just felt it was normal mayo, would be a good suggestion to maybe change it to garlic mayo? Tried dining in twice when it claimed to be open online (both weekday and weekend) but found it closed, so we settled for takeaway. Honestly, not worth the bother.
Fabulous new addition to Selby. We had a fab pizza and a chicken gyro, both very tasty. Draft beer Estrella v good, served cold in a clean glass. Hope it goes well for the owners.
We went during the opening week. We were nicely welcomed and shown to our table. The menu had a great selection of Pizzas, Wraps, Salads, Shakes, Cocktails, Mocktails and Deserts. Service was great, food came hot and delicious. I would definitely recommend.
Quick stop for lunch after smelling the smoke for the past hour whilst shopping. Quite impressed with the food. Thoroughly enjoyed it. Tasted quality to be honest with very competitive prices. If you're happy to pay £10 for any pizza from the takeaway, you are getting a bargain here. Night and day quality wise. Only teeny tiny negatives were I would have expected more spotting on the pizza and a fluffier crust, maybe too much semolina? And the Nduja wasn't what I am used to, it didn't "melt" quite as nice. Didn't affect the overall enjoyment and these are very good pizzas. Would recommend for sure and will be returning.
We had a great valentines meal at Basco. Service great, reasonable cocktails and really yummy food! The croquettes were some of the best we’ve had (and we visit Spanish cities regularly in the hunt of good tapas!) My only bit of feedback would be to offer water for the table as we had to ask. We will be back soon!
