Visited this Boots store in Selby today to buy some winter essentials for my wife who had developed a cold. The young lady behind the till (Hannah) was a pleasure to deal with. Very helpful and polite. The store is well set out with a good choice of remedies and vitamins. Hannah you’re not only great at customer service but your smile would make anyone feel better instantly. Well done! Location: 10/10 Stock availability: 10/10 Layout: 10/10 Customer service: 10/10

I went to pick up my mum's prescription and several items were missing. The first member of staff I spoke to was very dismissive saying they were not on the system so my mum would have to go to her doctors to sort it out. Luckily I found the prescription slip with the missing items on and after showing this to Hannah she took the time to phone my mum's gp and resolve the issue. Because I had an appointment she offered to phone me later in the day when the items had been approved which she did and she was very polite and caring. I would like to thank Hannah again for showing great customer service and sparing my mum from making an unnecessary trip to the doctor to get the drugs she's entitled to. Hannah deserves 5 stars I only took 1 off for the unhelpful staff

I visited this store today to buy a few products. Once I picked the items I required I waited by the till - no staff. After a while I approached the store manager and asked if I can get served. She said that somebody will be with me in just one moment so I returned to the unattended checkout. I stood there for another while completely ignored. I then approached the store manager again and her reply was I should join the queue behind her as this is the only checkout that is open by which time the queue was quite significant. I was not prepared to wait yet again to SPEND MONEY in store! The way the store manager spoke to me was unacceptable and rude! I feel let down by the level of service I received! If I was her I would be embarrassed to treat customers in such a way especially how desperate they are for walk in customers. Going forward I will make my purchases online to avoid this store or spend my money elsewhere.

Poor service. Lady on the beauty/make up counter totally ignored me whilst queuing to pay as she was talking to another customer about her 16 year old son and their gluten allergy. Better service at the pharmacy counter.

When you get to speak to the pharmacy they are very helpful, but the store never answers the phone. This is not an isolated instance, have tried and the phone just rings out. Tried repeatedly over a period of 2 hours on a number of occasions over several weeks, trying to see if a prescription is ready for collection.
