What a lovely experience buying my secret Santa gift online. I absolutely adore Lemn Sissay and wanted to buy his Let the Light pour in book for a colleague who loves poetry. Ideally I wanted a signed copy, but didn’t think I’d be able to lay my hands on one. Fox Lane had just what I wanted! I came across this shop when Googling a book for my mum for Christmas. I decided to support a small business and was so happy I did. The book came beautifully and securely wrapped and in good time. Katie is the bee's knees. Fox Lane Books is my go to book shop for ordering books as gifts for friends in the UK. Katie has a huge selection of books (with a lot of them being signed copies which are terrific for presents) and she wraps them, and posts them for a very reasonable cost. I've been buying books from her for a few years now and am a very happy customer. Katie is easy to communicate with, friendly, and gets back to you quickly. Fox Lane Books is a fantastic bookseller. I have bought many books from them and am always impressed with the selection. The site also always has a great offering of signed books and indie editions. The customer service is top notch, if they don’t have it ask and they will see if they can get it or if you have a question about a book (such as is it suitable for a child aged x) drop them a line. Also the books always arrived beautifully wrapped. My latest purchase was no exception. It is like a gift for yourself every time. It is my go too for books. I highly recommend it.
