This is the best Fish & Chip shop I’ve ever been to. I always come here for lunch when I’m in Settle. Fantastic food, fantastic value … I recommend this place to everyone. (Especially the battered sausage & curry sauce!) It certainly does not disappoint! 😊
hands down. the very best fish and chips I have ever tasted.
The service was with a smile and a chat, and I was really looking forward to my Yorkshire fish and chips, with gravy and scraps. I prefer my batter to be thicker and crisper on the outside. But the fish was freshly cooked and didn't have time to drain, and just put in a card box, so by the time we got back to our holiday accommodation, it was swimming in frying oil and soggy. And it was a very small large chips, which we usually share between 2, so I didn't really have any chips, which I was looking forward to with my gravy. One large gravy for one large chips is plenty. Don't think I would be going back.
First time we have had fish and chips from here(we are on holiday). The chips were lovely and the batter is the best I’ve ever had(and our local chippy has won awards). This chippy could give them a run for their money. The service was extremely efficient.
